Biophilic Art Made of Repurposed Fabric

Biophilic Art Made of Repurposed Fabric

By integrating organic patterns from outdoors into custom installations indoors, this rhythmic biophilic art by Susie Frazier embodies calming principles that are fundamental to the wellness design movement. Susie Frazier originally created this piece for her retail lounge inside 78th Street Studios in Cleveland using hardened strips of fabric finished with an aged brass patina with embedded high energy magnets. The elements were assembled on the fly as Susie drove drywall screws into the wall as the holding points for each twisted fabric piece.

This work has been purchased by a collector and is being reconfigured into a new composition for their newly constructed home.
