Amara Hotel - Limassol, Cyprus

Commissioned in 2019 for the spa inside the five star luxury hotel, Amara, located in Limassol, Cyprus, Susie created "Flow," a set of three rhythmic and textural artworks made with thousands of grass strands fused into encaustic wax. Made from a specific species Susie collected along waterways and fields, each frame was 20" x 48" x 2" deep and featured a tactile surface that begs visitors to touch.
