On the other side of trauma is the opportunity to tinker with our mindset. Despair can linger for months if we let it, but eventually we learn to find little beams of light through the rubble, despite what’s taken place. There are several ways to be happy, even when our life doesn’t turn out the way we planned. It starts by noticing the little things that bring joy....a homemade meal, a sunny day, a blooming tree, a bouncing bunny in the yard, a smile from a stranger. Please take this time of stillness to start seeing through new eyes. This world is going to need an awakened breed of people, who remember what really matters, when this is all over. #wellnessjourney
